Natural Farming

Pragati Gramin Vikas Sanstha is working with 500 farmers in 16 villages and dhans of four panchayats of Bhimpur development block of Betul district on natural farming. The goal of Natural Farming is to integrate traditional indigenous practices with modern scientific knowledge to reduce dependence on externally purchased inputs and free smallholder farmers from the burden of debt, while leading to a steady, sustained and sustainable rise in farmer incomes. In this, an effort is being made to empower local youth and farmers, women as community entrepreneurs.
