Pragati gramin vikas sansthan Khedisanwaligarh Betul organized various
activities connected with Read–to-room’s girl’s education programme in the five villages
Peepaldhana, Jhapal, Manakdand, Singarchawadi and Bhandawa of the block
Bheempur. Under the “Dalit-Adhikar-Abhiyan” programme of ActionAid, Bhopal And the
institute conducted various activities and programmes in the block Aamla, 10 villages of
district Betul, 80 villages of district Harda, 10 localities of district Bhopal, 10 villages of
district Sehore and 10 villages of district Sagar, with the objective to aware and co-
ordinate with dalit, tribals, marginalized, poor, orphans of society.
In which they
councelled mainly on importance and necessity of education, improvement in education,
better co-ordination,unity of community, remove discrimination and untouchability,
cleanliness, to save and preserve water, afforestation, to protect environment, de-
addiction, land rights, active participation of community in all tri-level panchayat-
elections, child-rights, active participation of women representative in the elections,
coordinate meetings at village level to change the economical and social condition of
village-community, raise a voice on women-violence. The efforts have been made to
encourage village communities to form local communities for village development.As a
result the exploited people of these communities and the socially, economically and
morally marginalized people can be connected with the main stream of
development.For which regional members of institute regularly co-ordinate meetings,
trainings and councelling with village communities in their work-area.
